2020 — Naturellement Plaza, exposition collective présentée à l’Hôtel Plaza Athénée avec Art Photo Expo, proposait un regard d’artistes sur la nature. Rachel Bergeret y a présenté deux œuvres majeures de son parcours : Gaia et Ode to Life (Ode à la vie).
Dans Gaia, la figure féminine fait le lien entre la Terre et le ciel, en écho à la Terre Mère. Ode to Life met en scène une femme aux bras ouverts, dans un geste d’accueil. Le soleil rayonne derrière elle tandis que des papillons s’envolent de ses mains. L’œuvre célèbre la vie et son renouveau.
Créées avant la pandémie, les deux œuvres ont pris une résonance prémonitoire lorsque l’exposition a dû fermer ses portes en raison de la Covid-19.
Présentée en février 2020 dans la cour-jardin de l’Hôtel Plaza Athénée, Naturellement Plaza est une exposition collective produite par Art Photo Expo autour de la nature et des préoccupations environnementales.
2020 — Naturally Plaza, a group exhibition presented at Hôtel Plaza Athénée with Art Photo Expo, brought together artists’ perspectives on nature. Rachel Bergeret presented two major works from her practice: Gaia and Ode to Life.
In Gaia, the female figure connects Earth and sky, evoking Mother Earth. Ode to Life depicts a woman with open arms in a gesture of welcome. The sun shines behind her as butterflies rise from her hands. The work celebrates life and renewal.
Created before the pandemic, the two works took on a prophetic resonance when the exhibition had to close because of Covid-19.
Presented in February 2020 in the garden courtyard of Hôtel Plaza Athénée, Naturally Plaza was a group exhibition produced by Art Photo Expo, exploring nature and environmental concerns.
